If you want to explore the charm and the authenticity of the small Berber villages hiding behind the breathtaking landscapes of Atlas Mountains, this 6-days trek will be the perfect choice.
During this trekking adventure, we you will discover extremely beautiful valleys in the hearth of the mountains and you will climb Djbel Toubkal (4167m), the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa. On the summit, extremely beautiful panoramic views will be waiting for you.
Program of the Trek
Departure from Marrakech to Asni valley then we continue to the village of Imi Oughlad, where we will meet the local team with mules. We will cross the village with its beautiful culture terraces to begin a climb to the Tacht pass, the beautiful red Azzaden valley and traditional Berber villages. Dinner & overnight in Tizi Oussem Village.
Walking time : 5 hours
After breakfast we climb a forest of juniper to arrive M’zik pass, on the pass we will enjoy the beautiful views of Imlil, then we will descend to have lunch under the old walnut trees. After lunch we will continue our trek to the village of Armed, where we will have dinner and spend the second night.

After breakfast we begin the trek up to Sidi Chamharouch, a very famous mausoleum which attracts tourists and pilgrims, we will stop to have lunch, then we will continue to Toubkal refuge.
Dinner & overnight in the refuge or in the bivouac camp.

Early departure after breakfast for the ascent of Djbel Toubkal, on the top we will enjoy the amazing views of the Atlas Mountains, the peaks of the Anti-Atlas, the Siroua (3304m) and the Haouz plains. After a well-deserved break on Toubkal summit, we will go back to the Refuge and to Armed Village, where we will spend the night.
Walking time : 9 hours
After breakfast we leave Armed, direction to Imlil, we will walk up along the valley and we will climb to the pass of Tamatert for a picnic-lunch break. After that, we will continue to Ouanesekra and to Tamguist till we get to Tinerhourhine, overnight in local gite.
Walking time : 5 hours
After breafast we will start walking down the Imnan Valley, passing through several authentic Berber villages, such as Ikkis Amssakrou and Imsker. At the village of Imsker, we will climb the small pass of Tizi Nlbour to reach Imi Oughlad.

End of our hiking tour and transfer back to Marrakech
