Itinerary
Day 1 :
Marrakech – Demnate – Imi n’Ifri – Ait Bouguemez
Early pick up from your hotel in Marrakech and departure to Ait Bouguemez trough the road of Demnate. The first stop will be in the beautiful little village of Imi N’ifri, classified as an important ecological site, we will have a small walking tour around the natural bridge of the village, then we will have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing our trip to Iwariden, a little red earth village where you will have the chance to explore some incredible dinosaur traces. After our visit to Iwariden village, we will continue through Ait Boulli valley before getting to Ait Bouguemez. We will drink a good cup of Moroccan mint tea before going for a short walk around to discover this amazing and extremely beautiful place. Dinner & night in a local Berber guest house. Walking time : 2 to 3 hours
Day 2 :
Ait Bouguemez (The Happy Valley)
After a morning hearty Berber breakfast, we will join our driver for the excursion to Timit, the starting point of our trekking tour. During the trek, we will visit the famous antique granary of Sidi Moussa, located at the top of remarkable attractive hill. We will continue walking through the large mosaic fields before arriving to Imelghas where we will have an hour lunch break in a Berber Gite, then we will walk back through different paths and trails to get to our guest house in Ait Bouguemaz. Dinner and overnight in hostel. Walking time : 4 to 5 hours
Day 3 :
Ait Bougmez – Azilal – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech
Once again, we will take a different road to go back to Marrakech, we will drive trough the village of Azilal, then we will reach the sumptuous Ouzoud valley, where you will enjoy watching the highest falls in Morocco and the second in Africa with over 100 meters of altitude. We will have a guided walking tour to discover the valley of Ouzoud, then you can join a river boat ride to get the most out of your day trip. Later, we will choose a local restaurant with panoramic terraces to have a relaxing lunch break, then we will continue to Marrakech where our tour ends. Waking time : 2 to 3 hours
