Itinerary
Day 1 :
Marrakech - Casablanca – Rabat
Early departure from Marrakech to Casablanca, the biggest city and the economic capital of Morocco. Enjoy a short visit to the big mosque of Hassan II, the second-largest mosque in the world, visit Ain Diab corniche and the famous place of united nations. The trip will continue to Rabat, the official capital of the kingdom, a very quite and elegant city, very popular for its history and monuments dating back to the 13th century. After a pleasant city tour with your driver to explore the wonders of Rabat, starting by the spectacular Kasbah des Oudayas, a fortified military camp from the 12th century, then you will visit to the famous Hassan Mosque and the medieval ruins of the Chellah. After your city tour, you will reach your hotel where you will get some rest, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2 :
Rabat - Meknes – Fez – Marrakech
After breakfast, you will take the direction to Meknes, one most splendid imperial cities in Morocco. You'll first visit Moulay Ismail's granaries, El Hdim square and Bab Mansour, the most famous old gate in North Africa, and of course you will have the chance to discover the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis. After a small lunch break, you will continue your tour to Fez, Morocco's oldest imperial city, renowned for its spiritual and educational contributions to Moroccan culture. You will discover the old Medina of Fez and the famous handicraft Souks with a local tour guide. After this valuable visit to the Medina of Fez, you will return to Marrakech through the road of Azrou & Mrirt, you will have 2 stops on the way back in the stunning small city of Ifrane, called the little Switzerland of Morocco, then in Beni Mellal before arriving to Marrakech late in the evening.
