Tour Itinerary :
Early departure from Marrakech through the spectacular pass of Tizi’n’Tichka (2260 m), we will have a first in the village of Telouet where we will visit an old Kasbah that belonged to the ancient Pacha of Marrakech that was governing his own kingdom in the South of Morocco.
After visiting this authentic old residence, we will continue to Ait Ben Haddou to visit another Kasbah of this mythic lord, discretely nestled in the heart of Onila Valley.
Ait Ben Haddou is a legendary Kasbah that has been listed as a human heritage by the UNESCO, many great Hollywood movies have been shot in Ait Ben Haddou like 7 days in Tebet, Alexander, Babel & Gladiator.
We will have lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, then we keep driving until we get to Ouarzazate, where we will visit to the amazing Kasbah of Taourirt, then dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will leave our hotel in Ouarzazate to drive through Skoura where we will visit the Kasbah of Amerhidl, then continuation through Roses Valley and Kalaat Mgouna, very known by its beautiful pink roses, the rose oil essence and the yearly festival of roses.
We continue driving to the village Ksour of Ait Youl, known by its rocky slopes with its beautiful palm grove. After reaching Ksour Ait Arbi (The Hills of Thousand Bodies), you will be impressed by the eye-catching rocks that look like human feet, a short stop, then we keep driving till we get to Taghia n’Dades and Msemrir.
We will have a lunch break at the fabulous Gorges of Todra, you can take a moment to relax by the riverside and appreciate the extremely beautiful wild landscapes.
After lunch, we will drive further east along the Tinejdad Valley, palm groves and stark hills to get to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.
We will immediately leave our vehicle to join a very pleasant camel ride tour at the sunset, you will meet the friendly Berber nomads living out there, you will have dinner under the stars and you will be invited to a Berber party around the camp fire.
Overnight in a luxury bivouac, in the middle of the dunes.
To get the most out of your desert experience, you need to wake up very early in the morning to watch the splendid sunrise over the Sahara dunes. Take a hearty breakfast in your bivouac camp, then join your driver to continue your safari desert to Khamlia, a tea-break with locals in the famous Gnaoua village, then we will head to Taouz and the small village of Ouzina.
You will have lunch in Ramlia, before getting to M’harch through Oued Rheris.
Dinner & Overnight in Oasis M’Hrach
After having breakfast in our desert hostel, we will take the direction to Zagora through the famous moto-rally road connecting Paris to Dakkar. Upon your arrival to Zagora, you will have free time to enjoy the charm and the beauty of the wild landscapes and to take some souvenirs photos of this great desert experience. You will have dinner in the bivouac camp and spend another quit and relaxing night under nomad tents.
Just after having breakfast in the camp, we will take the road back to Marrakech through the wonderful Draa Valley, with a stop in Ouarzazate to visit one of its famous cinema studios and to have lunch there. This exceptionally amazing desert tour will end in Marrakech with a drop-off at your hotel.
