Itinéraire
Day 1 :
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora
This tour of two days from Marrakech to Zagora is one of the splendid and recommended desert trips that you should experience during your holidays in Morocco for many reasons. First, in the morning you will have a delightful drive across the high Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N’Tichka’s pass over 2260 meters. Alongside the way, you will have an appropriate time to catch sight of the beautiful villages hung from the mountainside, you will be enjoying these sceneries until we arrive at one of the famous world heritage of the UNESCO which is the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will take a break to discover this historical landmark and to have a light on where hundreds of movies carried out in the past such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Seven Years in Tibet, Babel and Alexander. After we finish the visit, you can take your lunch in one of the traditional Berber restaurants onsite, you will have a variety of local menus served on your table. Our next step of the journey will be driving you to the south through the pre-Sahara pathways and the lunar landscape, the place where you will be greatly impressed by a rugged and barren landscape similar to that of the moon, then we arrive at Zagora which is a small town, the native region of Saadian dynasty who used to rule Morocco in the 17th-century , in this town we will take you to a well equipped and comfortable hotel to take a rest and keep your luggage, then we continue our evening journey outside the city for around 5 km where you will taste and live different experience while you are walking over the first dune of the desert and unleash your eyes over the sunset from these dunes. Besides this, another surprise will be waiting for you: a wonderful camel trek in the desert will give you an almost unique chance to experience the nomad lifestyle and to enjoy the grand solitude, immensity and silence of the Sahara.
Day 2 :
Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Après avoir pris le petit-déjeuner, nous devrons retourner à Marrakech en passant par Ouarzazate. Le long de la route, vous serez fasciné par les vastes palmeraies et les authentiques villages berbères de la vallée du Drâa. Après avoir pleinement satisfait vos yeux avec les couleurs vibrantes du désert, nous arriverons à Ouarzazate, connue comme la porte du Sahara. Nous visiterons l'ancienne Kasbah de Taourirt, puis nous continuerons la route vers Marrakech.
