Cooking Class in Ourika

During this full-day trip from Marrakech to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, you will have the chance to visit a very stunning and authentic Berber guest house nestled in the high Atlas and surrounded by an extremely amazing green vegetation.

The classes in this Berber guest house are organised in a dedicated workspace full-equipped and adapted to cooking workshops.

A master chef will give you useful information about Moroccan gastronomy and more especially the Berber cuisine.

You will have the chance to learn how to prepare the traditional Berber bread, one or two popular Moroccan Tajines like the Tajine of chicken with olives and candied lemon or the Tajine of beef meat with prunes and almonds, and if you are lucky enough, your chef may learn you how to make some delicious Moroccan salads and sweet desserts.

At the end of your workshop, you will be invited to have lunch on the roof-top terraces of the guest house that will undoubtedly surprise you by the panoramic views overlooking the valley.

After lunch, you can join a small guided tour to explore the hidden paths of the valley and to enjoy a moment of relaxation by the riverside.
